Facebook's Meta will devote 20% of costs to Metaverse this year - Although Meta stock is down 65%, this investment in futuristic technologies is helping them keep their “leading edge”, although critics are questioning the business division in augmented and virtual reality. Get the goss above and prepare to plug in, the virtual world isn’t disappearing anytime soon.

Instagram adds new 'quiet mode' - To aid more breaks, self-moderation tools and manual controls have been added! ‘Quiet Mode’ will notify contacts that you’re off-grid and detect users who’re spending significant time in the night (targeted for teens / parents in particular) and mute topics / hide keywords.   2. Instagram is removing the Shop tab - Simplifying its in-app navigation, Reels are officially booting out the Shop icon to take the prime spot in the app. Get the low down… 

  3. TikTok launches a Talent Manager Portal - Update alert! The ‘Creator Marketplace’ now invites management to oversee and execute brand opportunities being presented to their clients. Brands or agencies can connect with over 800k creators…
