Full Fat is looking for a passionate, creative and strategically driven Social Media Manager to oversee and manage our client’s social media accounts. These accounts primarily sit within the food, drink, venues and events sectors.

The overall purpose of the Social Media Manager role will be to lead on the day-to-day social media strategy across our client accounts in order to boost awareness, engagement and market/mind share, with a strategy that reflects overall annual business objectives.  

This role will involve managing multiple accounts, across a variety of platforms (primarily Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), the development of high caliber content calendars, ROI focused advertising strategies and influencer strategies, consistent community management, all with a personal client relations approach. We run organic and paid campaigns, both on a project and retained basis, so experience running campaigns from both perspectives is key.

This role will see you manage the day-to-day accounts for multiple brands and projects within Full Fat’s roster.

Role responsibilities

  • Planning, creation and implementation of monthly content calendars

  • Writing engaging, eye-catching and entertaining copy - we need a wordsmith!

  • Continuous monitoring and refinement of advertising strategies, daily spends and audience response through Ads Manager/Power Editor

  • Consistently being proactive and ‘social’ in your community management style 

  • Managing budgets and timelines

  • Building and delivering reports on a bi-weekly and monthly basis

  • Managing client relations, expectations and ongoing account growth/ upset opportunities 

  • Add to our database of reliable content creators who support our work when necessary (photography, videographer)

  • Develop our database of industry contacts and social media influencers

  • Support proposal construction and new business pitches

  • Support the development of junior team members skillset and knowledge

  • Attended relevant digital marketing industry events

  • Organising and attending photo and video shoots, as well as managing edits

Skill Requirements

  • 3+ years minimum experience working with a variety of social media accounts within an agency or as a freelancer

  • Good project management skills to manage multiple content schedules, social communities and advertising strategies

  • Competent knowledge of paid and organic social media strategies across Facebook,  Instagram & Twitter (Ads-Manager experience is essential)

  • Strong writing skills to engage audiences with creative copy to drive client tone, voice, language and purpose 

  • Have a good eye for attention grabbing content - directing clients, photographers and videographer will be a regular occurrence

  • Are data and analytically minded in approach (social content and strategy must work hand-in-hand)   

  • Adobe Photoshop skills would be a bonus
